rosy cheeks

I'm busy with work, and am working out to see if there's any results by the end of december.
Baby is down with flu and cough, and I'm really feeling all heart pain to see him having some difficulty in breathing.

I know it's kinda of funny to be saying this, but I loved his rosy cheeks because of the flu. His face is like, brushed with blusher and it is a really nice shade of pink.

I'm kinda tanned so my face can never be that shade.

Hopefully next time, our kids can take after his skin, hahaha!!

I really do hope for good news to be heard in last then a month's time. Because this is a new beginning. The next step to building the future that both baby and I always dream of. =)

Till then!

of words and memory

I really have alot of things to say.
Like, I am really amazed by how human remember things as well as how we actually come about creating words and then matching meanings to it?

It is still intriguing at times, to be typing these words, yes, these words out to mean words. Who the hell invented words anyway? Why is it "words" and not "hords"?

Oh, right. Even by typing "hords", the blogger spelling dictionary just underlined that word to me, telling me that the word, is wrong.

Let's talk/discuss about two things, shall we?
Words and Memory.

(I am blogging in the comfort of my boyfriend's room. He's sleeping at this very instance and I'm sleeping over since I can't possibly ask him to send me home now. I'm pretty much fully awake, as I've just completed my last paper AND have nothing much on tml. Enjoying the last of my beautiful nights before I go and help out over at La Viva for a few weeks.)

Anyway, talking about words, I've come to the conclusion that Singlish is one of the greatest things invented by Singaporeans. Second, would be the law created to ban the total existence(at least not in public) of chewing gum.

I don't fancy getting my (future) Christian Louboutins stuck in gum while sashaying down the streets, do you?
(I want, I want, I want!!! Muacks Muacks Muacks!!! I am hyperventilating in front of the computer.)

I was typing a message to my best friend, Joanne the other day and the message was like this, "XXXXX is it?" and then, I was pressing numerous times for the dictionary on my phone to change the "hp" to "is" when I got pretty pissed and then deleted the whole "is it" and went "XXXXXX, ah?".

VOILA. Amazing right? I can sum two words into a single, Singlish expression. And, it is so much easier.

Like what my E-commerce lecturer said, "Singaporeans can turn "Go a turn" into "Gostan" "

And, my favorite; whenever I need to emphasize a point to baby, and literally stress the importance or beauty of something, I always go "leh."

"BABY!!!! That dress/bag/shoe/girl/whatever is so pretty, LEH." or
"XXXXX is so irritating!! Leh."

To replace "Oh my, that is really disgusting!", just go "AIYER!!!"

See, I've just replaced six words, with one singlish word. Can any other English, (British/American) beat that?!

What is it about Singlish that some, SOME Singaporeans hate? It is part of our culture, one of the things I loved, besides nice food and almost safe environment. Well, beside the point that Singaporeans always love to push their way through the opening doors of the MRT.

......................................................................

Secondly, let's talk about, memory!

Actually, it's nothing to talk about, other than the fact that when people praise me, they always like to say "Whoa, very good hor? You can speak English, Chinese and Thai somemore! How you say hello huh? Sa wad di kam is it?"

Yes, And that is for guys, girls is "ka".

I don't know how many zillion times people try to strike a conversation with me using that line.

Even when I am washing my hair at the salon nearby my school, the shampoo boy tried that on me.

I find it amazing how my memory works, as I can understand/talk/listen to thai and it is all thanks to my mummy who talks to me in Thai from young. Now, the headache part, would be when I am teaching my own kids, in time to come.

Till then!

P.S
The whole post, I really am salivating over the picture of the shoes. There's thousand and one shoes I wanna post up from Christian Louboutins, but I don't wanna crash my blog or scare my boyfriend. HAHAHA!!!

paper n fun

Met Ee Lin for some revision for our IOB paper.

I was still down with flu, and was using up all the tissues I have, resorted to buying a pack of the tissues at guardian.

Baby came down to school to fetch me and Ee Lin down to Somerset 313 shopping mall. We wanted to check out the Uniqlo shop for thier jacket offers. You know, the one with different colours? But then, there was only the grey and black ones left.

Such a disappointment. =(

Anyway, was feeling hungry so we went down to Cineleisure and dined in at Xin Wang. Again. LOL!

Pardon the super blur look, and Chanel, I hoped my boobs didn't scare you again. LOL!

Ee Lin and myself. Today is officially her birthday!!! =) We signed on membership at the cafe and I got this huge cup which is gonna be my cereal bowl.

Went to Kinokuniya over at Takashimaya Shopping Mall to look for my filofax refill for 2012. They are like selling fast!! And I want those One week, two pages types.

Went back home early because baby have reservist early in the morning and I was feeling drowsy from the medication. I'm going to take a look at Vivi Mag before proceeding with my notes.

Tml's gonna be a nice day, I'm sure of that. =)

P.S
Just to add on with that last post of mine regarding "cheaters". Ladies, if there are any rumours, or friends telling you about your man being flirts or whatsoever, please dump that fellow too. Cause chances are, they are true. I know this first hand. Of course, believe your real/true friends. Not those random human beings that comes to your blog like a ghost and say "I say your guy holding hands at XXX with another girl!". You have to be more understanding to those sort of people. They are the very same people who are mentally retarded and probably can never find another human being to mate with. Just, you know, block them? =)

Cheers!

cheating men

Men.

Either they are good, or they end up cheating on you.

No wonder I have friends (like Chanel) whom only hope at getting married, is that Mr Mustafa comes to life.

Yeah. This animated lion king.

But what is it about cheaters that caused them to cheat?

From my personal experience, it was because they were facing the stigma of staying too long in love, so much that life and the r/s has became a routine. (Thanks to this, I learned how to manage my r/s with baby well. We may be doing things the same everytime, but it was done differently. =))

But then again, what cause rich men to cheat then?

Wife not pretty enough? Sex not fantastic? The blow job was poorly done?!

To that, I have no answers. Since I have no idea what the hell was going through their minds. But I have one quote to share, quoted from 8 days regarding the tiger wood's saga.

"Tiger Woods is so rich, he owns lots of expensive cars. Now, he has a hole in one"

Guys, please know your own standards. If you are not as rich as tiger woods, don't even think of cheating. If not, wait till I am some important figure for woman's rights. I am gonna push for the bill to pass through, which will change the history for ever.

Woman will be able to punish cheating husbands like how they (are allowed to) do it in some countries to their cheating wife. If you don't have cars, prepare to receive the blow in your genitals.

After which, is the issue of woman allowing husbands to hang out with his ex girlfriend for coffee talks.

Really? You don't mind your husband hanging out with his ex lover??

Cause if it was myself, I'm gonna stop him from meeting, or even remaining in contact with his ex at all.

No such things as platonic friendship between a man, and a woman(his ex), ladies. If they are hanging out, I am pretty sure something else below is hanging out too (Pardon my crudeness, but it is the truth. Man either thinks with his head or his dick)

So don't be stupid and give any oppurtunity for your men to cheat, as well as a chance to hurt yourself!

It irks me to no end to see that woman allows themselves to get stomped all over by their man. Dump him right away if he is disrespecting you as a girlfriend or a spouse.

P.S
I am referring to friendship with an ex lover, not friends. Baby have platonic friendships which I AM AWARE about, likewise I have platonic friendship too! But not between ex lovers, it's just so wrong okay!

Till then.

movie reviews

Watched two new movies so far.

RAGING PHOENIX
(pictures taken from: http://thaifilmjournal.blogspot.com/2009/08/review-jija-deu-suay-du-raging-phoenix.html)

The female lead is the same actress who acted in chocolate. But in this movie, her performance was only moderate, and instead of acting tough, her role was a drummer who was weak and almost abducted by the "Jaguar" gang, who is in charge of kidnapping girls for thier "unique" aroma scent which is used to make perfume. Basically, these girls are drugged and then robbed of their soul. The unlucky ones will get raped.

The female lead was saved by a group of "Shits" as the boys are called "bullshit, pigshit and dogshit". LOL! Maybe due to the fact that i understand thai, I was able to relate better and it was so super funny!

Anyway, the fighting scenes will make you go "OOH and AAH!" keeping you in suspense. The male lead(or sort of) was super handsome but I honestly will kill him too if he is late for our wedding, LOL! and for this show, I rate it 4/5.

COUPLE'S RETREAT

Saw this movie last saturday night and it was super nice!!!
It was so super hilarious! There's scenes of like, man's hobbies and other sexual content, but it was upt across in a very subtle way.

The plot is that one of the couples (there were 4 of them) had problems with conceiving and the the whole thing was taking a toll on them, instead, they robbed their married friends in together to go for some fun and sun (with some counseling as well, but that was hidden from the friends) and then the 8 of them finally get past the stigma of being married for far too long and not getting the sparks and sex they needed.

A very fun, simple, loving movie. Just what couples needs to recharge their life and be reminded about what they love about the other party.

I'll rate this movie 4/5 too, because baby was laughing out loud. He rarely laughs at anything, so if this movie made him laugh that much, it is damn good! LOL!

first paper

Had my first paper for the month, the module of Basic Business Statistics, which I think I am gonna fail and re module instead. Cause, you know, anything to do with numbers is really not my forte. *bursts into tears and cry*.

Went home to find my mummy immediately after that and the weather, I must say, is scorching hot!!!
